The New England Chapter of the Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) will be holding its annual election to the Board of Directors in December. According to the Chapter/Meeting Group Bylaws of the SCTE, the Board of Directors will be made up of 12 members, who will be elected by the members of the Chapter. We are currently seeking nominations for six open Board of Director’s positions. These positions are for a two-year term which will begin in January 2011 and are available to any member of the Chapter who is interested. If you or someone you know, is interested in participating in the continued growth of the New England Chapter and would like to serve on the Board, or if you know someone who could serve in this capacity, let us know. This is an opportunity to join one of the most active and successful SCTE Chapters, but this is also a commitment that demands time and expertise. Nominations for the open positions must be submitted by Thursday, October 27, 2011 and BIO’s are due by Thursday, November 10. Please complete the following nomination information.
